Ingredients:
1 lb cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup green olives, pitted
1 lemon, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
1 cup olive oil
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
1. Layer the ingredients:
In a clean jar or airtight container, layer cooked shrimp, green olives, lemon slices, and fresh dill.
2. Prepare the marinade:
In a small saucepan, combine olive oil, white vinegar, garlic slices, peppercorns, chili flakes, and salt.
Warm the mixture over low heat for 2-3 minutes to infuse the flavors (do not boil).
3. Pour and marinate:
Pour the warm marinade over the shrimp mixture in the jar, ensuring all ingredients are submerged.
Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
