Jalapeno Poppers are a popular appetizer made by stuffing spicy Jalapeno peppers with a creamy mixture of Cream Cheese and shredded Cheddar Cheese, then baking until warm and bubbly. Ingredients

10 fresh jalapenos, halved lengthwise and seeds removed

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Toppings

5 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

¼ cup breadcrumbs (for crunchy topping)

chopped green onions

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Peppers

Slice jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes (this reduces heat).

Arrange them on the baking sheet.

3. Make the Filling

In a bowl mix together:

cream cheese

shredded cheddar

garlic powder

paprika

salt and pepper

Stir until smooth and well combined.

4. Stuff the Jalapenos 

Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half.

Optional: sprinkle bacon bits or breadcrumbs on top.

5. Bake

Bake for 18–20 minutes until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.

6. Serve

Let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with green onions and serve warm.
