High-Protein Healthy Homemade Garlic Sweet Potato Bake

3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

1 cup Greek yogurt

½ cup low-fat cottage cheese

1 egg

¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

Toppings

½ cup shredded mozzarella

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Sweet Potatoes

Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F.

Slice sweet potatoes into thin rounds (about 3–4 mm thick) so they cook evenly.

In a bowl toss them with:

olive oil

minced garlic

salt

pepper

paprika

oregano

2. Make the High-Protein Cream Mixture

In another bowl whisk together:

Greek yogurt

cottage cheese

egg

parmesan cheese

garlic powder

Mix until smooth and creamy.

3. Layer the Bake

Lightly grease a baking dish.

1. Add a layer of sweet potatoes

2. Spread a layer of protein cream sauce

3. Repeat layers until ingredients are used.

Top with mozzarella cheese.

4. Bake

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake another 10 minutes until the top becomes golden and bubbly.
