Ingredients Cornish Pasties

  1. 200 g Leftover Instant Pot Beef Stew
  2. 500 g Air Fryer Pie Crust
  3. Egg Wash
  4. 1 Tsp Mixed Herbs
  5. Salt & Pepper

Guidelines Cornish Pasties

  1. Make sure all of the liquid has been drained before adding leftover beef stew to a bowl and seasoning it with salt, pepper, and mixed herbs.
  2. After rolling out your pastry, cover it with the pastry maker’s bottom and cut out circles. To get three pasty circles, you might need to roll again. Next, as you form the pasty circles, set them on a sanitised, floured surface.

3. After creating all of the pasty circles, place each one into your pasty cutter one at a time. Make sure not to overfill the pasty when you load the stew filling into one side of it.

4.Make sure it disappears from the lovely pasty pattern as you push down. Until all of your pasties are made, rinse and repeat.

5.After that, put foil inside the air fryer basket and brush egg wash over the pasties’ tops.

6.Before serving, air fried for 8 minutes at 200°C/400°F.

Notes:

Observations Leftovers. This is a fantastic way to use up any leftover dumplings and beef stew. Naturally, the dumplings disappear quickly when we make stew, and there is constant bickering over who gets the last one. However, the small amount of stew can be turned into pasties.

Cheap: Potato, onion, swede, and sirloin steak are the ingredients of traditional Cornish beef pasties. If you create our instant pot stew and dumplings first, and then use braising meat instead, you can cut costs. In addition, you can have Cornish pasties on Mondays and stew and dumplings on Sundays.

Quantity: Three pasties can be made with the pastry we utilise. You can make as little or as much as you like, or double this up to create six.
