PEACH COBBLER EGG ROLLS

Easy deep-fried (or air-fried) rolls with  spicy peach cobbler filling are called Southern Peach  Cobbler Egg Rolls. Fried egg rolls with spicy peach cobbler filling are called Peach Cobbler Egg Rolls! This tiktok viral delicacy, peach cobbler egg rolls,  is incredibly simple and delicious!

INGREDIENTS FOR PEACH COBBLER EGG ROLLS

20 minutes were spent on preparation. Cooking Time: Fifteen minutes Thirty-five minutes in total

  1. Two cups chopped peaches (frozen, tinned, or fresh; see below)
  2. One tablespoon of newly squeezed lemon juice
  3. Two tablespoons of salted butter, or unsalted  butter with dash of salt added
  4. ½ cup sugar, light brown
  5. Four tsp cornflour
  6. One-half teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  7. One-half tsp clear vanilla extract
  8. Ten wrappers for egg rolls
  9. Two tablespoons of water can be used to brush  vegetable oil, fry powdered sugar, or dust (optional).

Dipping Sauce with Vanilla Beans

  1. ¾ cup of sugar powder
  2. half tsp vanilla bean paste (or extract)
  3. 1-2 tsp milk, 
  4. sprinkle of salt

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PEACH COBBLER EGG ROLLS

  1. Heat the chopped peaches, butter, lemon juice, brown sugar, cornflour, and cinnamon in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil while stirring, then lower heat to  a simmer and cook, stirring often, for approximately ten minutes or until thickened. Mix in the vanilla extract and leave to cool.
  3. Lay an egg roll wrapper with one corner facing you on a spotless surface to assemble the rolls.
  4. Use water to swish the edges. Put two tablespoons or so of the cooled peach filling in the middle.
  5. Two tablespoons water and ten egg roll wrappers
  6. Once the egg roll is folded and sealed, fold the sides in. Continue using the remaining wraps

TWO FRYING METHOD

  1. Warm up the oil to 350°F. Cooking in batches, gently drop the egg rolls into the heated oil and cook for five to six minutes, or until they are deep golden brown.

  3. Take out the egg rolls and place them on a wire rack set over a paper towel to cool and drain. If desired, dust with powdered sugar after they’ve cooled.

AIR FRYER:

  • After each roll, coat each egg roll with melted butter and arrange on racks inside an air fryer.
  • For 14 minutes, air fry at 390°F/200°C, swapping trays halfway through.
