Ingredients (Serves 4-6)

For the Steak:

1 lb ribeye, sirloin, or flank steak

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)

For the Garlic Cheese Bread:

1 French baguette or Italian bread, halved lengthwise

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon parsley, chopped

1½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese

½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Steak:

Pat the steak dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side (or to preferred doneness).Remove from heat, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.

2. Make the Garlic Bread:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, and parsley.Brush the mixture over the cut sides of the bread.Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes until slightly crispy.

3. Assemble & Bake:

Remove the bread from the oven and top with shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes.Add the sliced steak evenly on top.Return to the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

4. Serve & Enjoy:

Slice into portions and serve immediately.
