Keto Big Mac Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Salad:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 works well)
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
6 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced dill pickles
1/4 cup diced red onion (optional but adds flavor)
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes (optional for strict keto—can skip or limit)
Sesame seeds (optional topping)
For the “Big Mac” Sauce Dressing:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sugar-free ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp dill pickle relish (or finely chopped dill pickles)
1 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease if needed.
Make the Dressing:
In a small bowl, whisk together all the dressing ingredients until smooth. Adjust to taste.
Assemble the Salad:
In a large bowl, layer romaine lettuce, cooked beef, cheese, pickles, red onion, and tomatoes if using.
Drizzle and Toss:
Spoon the dressing over the salad, toss gently, and top with sesame seeds if desired.
