Healthy & Easy Oat Cookies with Dried Fruits

Soft, chewy, naturally sweet oat cookies made with mashed banana, honey, and your favorite dried fruits. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or a healthy treat.

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1 medium ripe banana (mashed well)

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

2 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil

¼ tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

¼ cup dried fruits (mix any):

raisins

cranberries

chopped apricots

chopped dates

1–2 tbsp chopped nuts (optional: walnuts, almonds)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Dough

1. Mash the banana in a bowl until smooth.

2. Add honey, oil, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix well.

3. Add oats, dried fruits, nuts, and a pinch of salt.

4. Mix until a thick cookie dough forms.

2. Shape the Cookies

1. Scoop small spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking tray.

2. Flatten slightly with your fingers (they won’t spread much).

3. Bake

Bake at 175°C for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden.

Let cool for 10 minutes — they firm up as they cool.

Healthy tips 

Want crunchy cookies? Bake 3–4 minutes longer.

Want more protein? Add 1 tbsp chia seeds or 2 tbsp peanut butter.

Want more sweetness? Add 1 chopped date or extra honey.
