Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Apples

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a pan, cook apples with butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice for 5–7 minutes until soft. Set aside.

Step 2: Make the Oat Base

In a bowl, mix:

Milk

Eggs

Maple syrup

Melted butter

Baking powder

Vanilla

Cinnamon

Salt

Step 3: Assemble

Grease a baking dish.
Spread half the oat mixture in the dish.
Layer cooked apples evenly.
Top with remaining oat mixture.

Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until set and golden.

In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar on low heat.
Stir in cream and salt.
