Apple Fig Brie Quesadillas with Hot Honey

Ingredients

Quesadillas

4 large flour tortillas

200 g Brie cheese, sliced

1 small apple, thinly sliced

¼ cup fig preserves or fig jam

1 tbsp  or olive oil, for cooking

Hot Honey Drizzle

3 tbsp honey

 

¼ tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

 

Optional Garnish

 

Fresh thyme or parsley

 

Directions

 

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly butter one side of a tortilla.

 

Place the tortilla butter-side down on the skillet. Layer Brie slices, apple slices, and fig preserves on top. Cover with another tortilla.

 

Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden brown and cheese is melted. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

 

Repeat with remaining tortillas and fillings.

 

Warm honey gently and stir in chili flakes to create hot honey.

 

Cut quesadillas into wedges, drizzle with hot honey, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
