Easy Marinated Appetizers with Salami & Pickles
A bold, briny appetizer made with sliced salami, crunchy pickles, olives, and cheese, all lightly marinated in olive oil, vinegar, and herbs.It’s effortless, flavorful, and ideal for Christmas platters, cocktail parties, or mezze board.
Ingredients
200 g (7 oz) salami, sliced or cubed
1 cup baby pickles or gherkins, sliced
½ cup green olives or mixed olives
½ cup cubed mozzarella or provolone
¼ cup roasted red peppers, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp red wine vinegar or pickle juice
½ tsp dried oregano
¼ tsp black pepper
Optional: chili flakes or fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Combine
In a large bowl, add salami, pickles, olives, cheese, and roasted peppers.
2. Marinate
Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar (or pickle juice).
Sprinkle oregano, black pepper, and chili flakes if using.
Toss gently to coat.
3. Rest
Cover and refrigerate 20–30 minutes for best flavor.
4. Serve
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
