🧺 Ingredients

Shrimp Burgers

450 g raw shrimp, peeled & deveined

1 garlic clove

Zest of 1 lemon

2 tablespoons fresh parsley or dill

2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt & black pepper

Jalapeno Lime Slaw

2 cups shredded cabbage (green or mixed)

1 small carrot, grated

1–2 tablespoons jalapeno, finely minced (optional)

Juice of 1 lime

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt to taste

To Serve

Soft burger buns or pita

Sliced avocado (optional)

Extra lime wedges

👩‍🍳 instructions 

1️⃣ Make Shrimp Patties

Pulse shrimp in a food processor until coarsely chopped (not paste).

Mix with garlic, lemon zest, herbs, breadcrumbs, Dijon, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Form 4 patties and chill 10 minutes (helps them hold).

2️⃣ Prepare Slaw

In a bowl, toss cabbage, carrot, jalapeno, lime juice, olive oil, and salt.

Set aside to soften slightly.

3️⃣ Cook Shrimp Burgers

Heat a pan with olive oil over medium heat.

Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

4️⃣ Assemble

Place shrimp patties in buns or pita.

Top generously with lime slaw and avocado if using.
