Ingredients

Hummus Base

1½ cups cooked chickpeas (or 1 can, rinsed)

¼ cup tahini

2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 garlic clove

½ tsp salt

Cold water, as needed

Platter Add-Ons

Cherry tomatoes

Cucumber sticks

Roasted red peppers

Carrot sticks

Kalamata & green olives

Radishes

Fresh parsley or mint

Warm pita bread or whole-grain crackers

Instructions

1. Make hummus

Blend chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and olive oil until smooth.

Add cold water 1 tbsp at a time until creamy.

2. Plate

Spread hummus in a shallow bowl.

Swirl top, drizzle olive oil, sprinkle parsley.

3. Arrange

Surround hummus with vegetables, olives, and pita.
