Q&A / Tips
Q: Can I make this vegan?
A: Yes! Replace mozzarella with vegan cheese or tofu slices, and skip the balsamic glaze if it contains honey.
Q: Can I use regular tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes?
A: Absolutely! Just slice ripe tomatoes thinly to avoid soggy toast.
Q: How do I prevent the avocado from browning?
A: Mash the avocado just before serving and consider adding a few drops of lemon juice to slow oxidation.
Q: Can this be prepared ahead of time?
A: Only partially. You can prep toppings, but assemble the toast right before eating to keep the bread crispy.
