Ingredients

Greek Lamb

500 g ground lamb (or thin lamb strips)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp dried thyme

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp paprika (mild)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Juice of ½ lemon

Wraps & Fillings

4–6 pita breads or flatbreads

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup tomato slices

½ cup cucumber slices

¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced

Garlic Yogurt Sauce

¾ cup Greek yogurt

1 small garlic clove, grated

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

Salt to taste

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Lamb

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Add lamb, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cook 8–10 minutes, breaking up meat, until browned and juicy.

Finish with lemon juice and remove from heat.

2️⃣ Make the Garlic Yogurt Sauce

Mix Greek yogurt, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt until smooth. Chill briefly for best flavor.

3️⃣ Warm the Pita

Warm pita breads in a dry pan or oven until soft and pliable.

4️⃣ Assemble the Wraps

Spread garlic yogurt sauce on pita.

Add lamb, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion.

Fold or roll tightly and serve.
