Recipe By: Samantha

Ingredients:

  1. Two generous cups of chopped apples
  2. One teaspoon of lemon juice
  3. ¼ cup of brown sugar
  4. One teaspoon of ground cinnamon, divided
  5. 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  6. Three tsp rolled oats
  7. Two tablespoons of flour (all-purpose)
  8. One tablespoon of melted butter

Directions:

  1. Set an air fryer’s temperature to 350°F. Grease a small dish that fits inside the air fryer and is safe to use in the oven.
  2. In a small bowl, combine apples, lemon juice, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, and salt. After combining, pour the mixture into the prepared dish and securely cover with aluminium foil.
  3. After inserting the dish into the basket, let it air fry for ten minutes. Air fry for an additional five minutes after removing the foil, stirring, and then replacing it.
  4. In the meantime, mix the rolled oats, flour, melted butter, and the remaining brown sugar and cinnamon in a fresh bowl. Using a fork, toss until big crumbles form.
  5. Take off the foil after 5 minutes and distribute the topping over the apples. Five minutes of air fry time.
  6. Accompany with caramel sauce, ice cream, or whipped cream.

TIPS FOR PRECIOUS APPLE CRISP IN AIR FRYER

  • To ensure that the apple crisp cooks as evenly as possible, chop the apples into pieces of a comparable size.
  • After ten minutes, stir the apple mixture to allow all of the apples to soften and cook.
  • To get the nicest texture, use rolled oats rather than quick oats. If not, your streusel will resemble oatmeal more than a streusel.
  • To ensure that every bite of the apple has golden, crunchy streusel, evenly distribute the crumble topping it.
  • Warm up and serve! Eat this food as soon as possible.
