Air Fryer Beef N Broccoli

Air Fryer Beef N Broccoli

Sure, getting takeaway might seem like the easiest way to eat supper, but that might not be the case if you have a fantastic recipe and an air fryer. Making our beef and broccoli in the air fryer only takes thirty minutes. This traditional Chinese-American meal has savory-sweet sauce, nicely cooked broccoli florets, and tender beef pieces. The secret is to microwave the sauce until it’s thick then toss it with the air-fried beef and broccoli instead of trying to cook it all at once because sauces don’t always attach to food in the air fryer. To complete the takeaway feel, serve over white rice; alternatively, for a healthier option, top with a scoop of brown rice.

Ingredients:

  1. One-half cup low-sodium chicken broth and three tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  2. Two tablespoons of packed light brown sugar
  3. One tablespoon cornflour
  4. one teaspoon dry sherry or Shaoxing wine
  5. Toasted sesame oil, 1 teaspoon
  6. freshly ground black pepper
  7. Broccoli and steak
  8. One pound of flank or skirt steak should be sliced into 1/8-inch slices against the grain, then into 1 to 2 inch portions.
  9. two garlic cloves, cut finely
  10. One tablespoon of low-sodium soy sauce
  11. Two teaspoons of cornflour
  12. 2 tsp. freshly peeled and finely chopped ginger
  13. Dry sherry or Shaoxing wine, two teaspoons
  14. Twelve ounces of tiny broccoli florets, roughly from two heads
  15. Vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons
  16. Toasted sesame seeds, steamed or sticky rice, and thinly sliced scallions are served.

Directions:

SAUCE:
Whisk together the broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, cornflour, and wine in a medium-sized heatproof bowl. Heat in the microwave on high for about 2 minutes, stirring halfway through, or until the sauce thickens. Add oil and season with a few black peppercorns.

Broccoli and steak

First Step
Combine the steak, wine, cornflour, ginger, garlic, and soy sauce in a separate medium-sized bowl. Give it five minutes to sit. Toss to mix in the oil and broccoli.

Step 2:

Fill the air fryer basket with half of the steak and broccoli mixture arranged in a single layer. Simmer the steak for around 8 to 10 minutes at 400° until it’s just cooked through and the broccoli is soft and has some golden hues. Coat the steak and broccoli mixture and scrape into the sauce-filled basin.

Step 3:

Continue with the leftover steak and broccoli mixture, tossing to cover in sauce.
Step Four

Add some sesame seeds and onions. Put on top of rice.
