Ingredients For air fryer cheese curds

  1. Curd cheese Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Curds, 8 oz.
  2. One cup of all-purpose flour
  3. One teaspoon of garlic powder
  4. two whisked eggs
  5. 1 tsp minced garlic (from the can), in olive oil
  6. 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, panko
  7. Half a cup of Italian bread crumbs
  8. One teaspoon of kosher salt
  9. A half-tsp of chilli powder
  10. One teaspoon of dried basil

Dressing for Ranch

  1. One packet of ranch seasoning
  2. One cup of sour cream
  3. one-fourth cup heavy cream
  4. A half-tsp black pepper
  5. One tablespoon spicy chilli garlic sauce

Instructions;

  1. Set up a station for dredging cheese curds. Garlic powder and all-purpose flour should be combined in a bowl. Whisk together the eggs and minced garlic in a separate bowl. Panko and regular bread crumbs, salt, chilli powder, black pepper, and basil should all be combined in the third bowl. Once the cheese curds have been dredged, transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Work with groups of three to four cheese curds at a time. Add to the flour first, tossing to coat. After that, dip in the eggs and let any extra run off. The cheese curds should lastly be rolled in bread crumbs. Continue until every cheese curd has been breaded and dredged. Put in the fridge to wait for the air fryer to heat up. **It has been discovered that breading the cheese curds twice stops the cheese from escaping when they cook. Just dredging in flour, eggs, and bread crumbs twice again. If you can refrigerate the breaded cheese curds for at least 45 minutes, then skip this step again.
  3. preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and let it run for five minutes.
  4. After lightly misting the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray, line it with foil. Take the breaded cheese curds out of the refrigerator and arrange them in a single layer within the basket, leaving a finger’s gap between each one. To lightly saturate the breading, lightly spray cooking spray on the cheese curds. Simmer for six minutes, turning them over halfway through to ensure even browning. **This can require several batches, depending on how big your air fryer is. (We made two batches of this dish using an instant pot vortex.) While cooking, return any leftover curds to the refrigerator.
  5. Make the garlic ranch chilli while the cheese curds are cooking. Combine ranch seasoning, sour cream, heavy cream, pepper, and chilli garlic hot sauce in a small mixing bowl by whisking them together. Keep chilled until you’re ready to serve.
  6. Serve ranch dip alongside cheese curds that have been plated in a bowl or on a platter. Have fun!
