Air Fryer Everything Bagel Avocado Fries

Their abilities come together to create the delectable Air Fryer Everything Bagel Avocado Fries, which instead of deep-frying, rely on the enchanted air fryer for their crispy texture. You’ll prepare the avocado wedges for frying just like you would chicken in order to get the crispy coating. This entails dusting the avocados with flour, dredging them in beaten egg, and then pressing them into panko bread crumbs that have been enriched with everything bagel spice. The end product is a tasty and healthful snack.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup flour (all-purpose)
- Two big eggs
- Panko breadcrumbs, 3/4 cup
- Three tbsp of everything bagel spice
- Two tablespoons of black or white sesame seeds
- Two large, perfectly ripe avocados, cut in half, pitted, skinned, and sliced to a thickness of ½”
- Cooking spray with olive oil
- Two ounces of cream cheese
- One tablespoon, or more wedges of water lime, for serving

First Step
Transfer the flour into a small basin. Whisk together the eggs in a separate shallow basin. Combine panko, everything bagel seasoning, and sesame seeds in a third shallow bowl. After dredging avocado slices in flour, shake off excess. Dredge in eggs, then coat in panko mixture, pressing firmly to stick. Move to a platter.
Second Step:
Apply cooking spray sparingly to the basket of an air fryer. Arrange the avocados in the basket in a single layer, spaced about 1/4″ apart, while working in batches. Coat with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 6 to 8 minutes, turning halfway through and misting with cooking spray, or until golden and crisp. In between batches, empty the basket of any breading.
Step Three:
Microwave cream cheese in a small microwave-safe bowl on high for about 30 seconds, or until melted and smooth. Add enough water to make the mixture drizzleable after stirring.
Step Four:
Drizzle melted cream cheese over avocado fries. Serve with wedges of lime on the side.
