Ingredients For Air Fryer Meatloaf
One pound of lean ground beef
One finely diced green bell pepper
One-third cup of seasoned bread crumbs
¼ cup finely sliced onion(refer to the note)
Two tablespoons milk
Two tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
One tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
One minced clove of garlic
one egg yolk
One-fourth of a teaspoon of Italian spice
One-fourth of a teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
For Topping:
¼ cup of chilli Sauce
1/4 cup of tomato sauce
Instructions For Air Fryer Meatloaf
Fry the onion in 1 tablespoon butter until cooked for a softer onion flavour. Let cool fully before incorporating.
Mix the meat just until incorporated; do not overmix.
Before you add the meatloaf, preheat the air fryer.
Make sure you use an instant read thermometer to check the internal temperature of the meatloaf and make sure it reaches 165° F. Air fryers can vary in this regard.
To make sure the meatloaf doesn’t overcook, check it early. As needed, extend the duration.
Before slicing, give the meatloaf a rest to prevent it from crumbling.
