Ingredients For Air Fryer Mini Pizza

  1. One packet of pizza dough
  2. Two tablespoons of melted butter
  3. One tsp of dehydrated parsley
  4. One-half teaspoon of powdered garlic
  5. 1/2 tsp salt and 1–2 cups pizza sauce
  6. One or two cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Extra Toppings:

  1. 1 cup sliced olives and ¼ cup pepperoni
  2. ½ cup chopped tomatoes
  3. one cup finely chopped spinach
  4. ten basil leaves

Directions For Air Fryer Mini Pizza

  1. On a chopping board, spread the pizza dough out flat. Using a cookie cutter or the edge of a cup, cut into 12 circles.
  2. Alternatively, use a pizza cutter to cut into squares. Lightly coat the air fryer basket or tray with olive oil, then arrange the dough rounds onto it.
  3. Not required: Add the garlic powder, salt, and parsley to the melted butter. Spread the butter sauce over the circles of pizza dough.
Next, add one tablespoon of cheese and around two teaspoons of pizza sauce. Top with your preferred toppings.
  4. Air fry at 375° Fahrenheit and cook for 5-6 minutes, until cheese is golden brown. Depending on how big your air fryer is, you might have to work in batches.
  5. Remove and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

NOTES:

  1. To prevent the dough from sticking, lightly spray olive oil inside the air fryer basket. For added defence against dough that sticks, you can also lightly dust the oil with cornmeal!
  2. Use a spatula to remove from the basket rather than tongs. However, let them a minute or two to rest in the tray or basket beforehand.
  3. To ensure that the pizza cooks evenly and the dough crisps up on the bottom, use an air fryer basket or tray with holes. I do not suggest using parchment paper to line the bottom.

Storage:

Keep tightly wrapped in aluminium foil in the refrigerator for up to three days. You can freeze them for up to six months.
Reheat in the fridge for one to two minutes in an air fryer. Warm up again.
