AIR FRYER MONKEY BREAD

This Air Fryer Monkey Bread, soft and warm with a swirl of sugar and cinnamon inside, is the ideal treat for breakfast or dessert!

This Air Fryer Monkey Bread is fluffy, light, and perfectly spiced, making it the perfect dish for a lively gathering! In only thirty minutes, you can have this delicious monkey bread on the table with just one can of biscuits, some cinnamon, sugar, butter, and a splash of vanilla!

Ingredients:
  1. 16.3 ounces (one can of eight biscuits) of chilled biscuit dough
  2. 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
  3. a half-tspoon of brown sugar
  4. one tsp finely ground cinnamon
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
  6. ½ cup melted unsalted butter
  7. One tsp vanilla essence

Directions:

  1. Apply butter or nonstick spray to a small bundt pan to grease it. (See note)
  2. Combine the sugar, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt in a medium-sized mixing basin.
  3. After taking the biscuits out of the can, cut each one into six equal pieces, for a total of forty-eight. As you
  4. cut the biscuits, add the pieces to the bowl with the cinnamon sugar and shake to coat.
  5. Melt the butter in a small bowl and mix in the vanilla. Coat the pieces of biscuit in cinnamon sugar by pouring over them and stirring. (This is how the delicious sauce is made.)
  6. After filling the bundt pan with everything, put it in the air fryer basket.
  7. After 10 minutes of cooking at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, check the bread. To stop it from browning too rapidly, cover with tin foil. Cook the dough for a further ten to fifteen minutes, or until it is thoroughly cooked.
  8. The pan should be carefully taken out of the air fryer basket and placed faceup on a serving dish. Take out the pan. Warm up and serve.

Notes:

If you don’t have a small bundt pan, you may make a fake bundt pan by using any small baking pan and cooking it in a single layer or with a little ramekin in the centre. Make sure your pan fits within the air fryer basket by measuring its size.

ADVICE FOR SUCCESS

  • Because air fryers come in different sizes, you must ensure that the budt pan you use will fit inside of it. I used a 9-inch wide air fryer basket with a 7-inch silicone bundt pan inside.
  • You may also use refrigerated crescent roll dough or, my personal favourite, refrigerated cinnamon roll dough if you’re feeling particularly fancy!
  • A simple vanilla glaze tastes wonderful on top of this Air Fryer Monkey Bread! To drizzle over the monkey bread, simply whisk up 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and 1-3 tablespoons milk.
  • If you wish to vary this recipe, you may also include chopped fruit, nuts, or even chocolate chips. In the event that you run out of ground cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice makes a fantastic stand-in.
