AIR FRYER SOFT PRETZELS
The recipe for air fryer soft pretzels that you will ever discover is the simplest one you will ever find. When you give these pretzels a try in the air fryer, you will find that you want to make them all the time.
The air fryer is the perfect appliance for making these soft pretzels, which will melt in your mouth and are so simple to prepare!
THE INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup of flour for rolling the dough
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- The dried yeast, one packet One-half teaspoons
- One cup of hot water
- melted butter with two tablespoons of unsalted butter
- Egg Wash
- 1 big egg 2 teaspoons of water or liquid
THE INSTRUCTIONS:
- For the purpose of preparing your air fryer basket, either gently coat the basket with olive oil or use a liner made of air fryer parchment paper, and then put the basket aside.
- The yeast, sugar, and salt should be mixed together in a large basin with the flour.
- After pouring in the warm water and the melted butter, use a fork to combine the ingredients and whisk them together until the dough starts to become flaky and begins to thicken.
- To make the dough smooth, remove it from the bowl and knead it on a surface that has been gently dusted with flour until it is completely smooth. Make a ball out of the dough and set it aside.
- Make eight separate pieces out of the ball of dough, and then roll them into ropes.
- Make each rope into a pretzel form by twisting it, and then set it in the basket of the air fryer.
- Egg wash is prepared by whisking one egg with a teaspoon of water in a small dish. The egg wash is then applied to the top of each pretzel.
- Cook the dough in an air fryer at 320 degrees
- Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the dough is done.
- When you are rolling out the dough, you should make an effort to get the ropes exactly the same size and thickness. This will ensure that your pretzels cook evenly. Before I formed them into pretzels, I first rolled them out and then shaped them.
- When you want pretzels of precisely uniform size, weigh the dough and divide it into equal sections.
- It is recommended that you split the dough into four pieces rather than eight if you want to produce pretzels that are bigger. Adjustments could be necessary for the air-frying time.
- Take care not to overmix the dough. It has the potential to give the pretzels a chewy and thick texture.
