Air Fryer Steak

Air Fryer Steak

Recip by:Makinze Gore

Cooking the ideal steak at home can seem like a difficult undertaking. Even the most enthusiastic home cooks might become stressed out trying to achieve the ideal sear, perfecting your desired doneness, and avoiding splattering oil. Nevertheless, what if we told you there was a simpler solution? The magic air fryer is here. You can cook a nicely done steak to smear with homemade herb butter in little over ten minutes by simply placing it in the air fryer (no need to sear it first!). This steak meal is a great option if you want to impress your significant other on Valentine’s Day without having to deal with extra stress or a dirty kitchen.

Advice and modifications for the ideal air-fried steak:

– Sort of steak. We adore this dish with a thick-cut ribeye, but feel free to switch up the cut and still utilise the air fryer! Just remember to modify the cooking time based on the thickness of the steak.
Your butter compound. We particularly enjoy the flavour combination of minced garlic with chives, parsley, rosemary, and thyme, but feel free to experiment with other combinations of soft and hard herbs. Some other herbs that could taste really good include sage, basil, or oregano.

Serving suggestions for steak:

We personally enjoy serving a rich steak with a side of potatoes (creamy mashed potatoes or melting potatoes would be delicious), along with a vegetable (roasted carrots with garlic and Parmesan, a wedge salad with garlic and herbs, or cacio e pepe Brussels sprouts). However, any of our side dishes for steak would be excellent in this situation.
