Banana Cake Recipe


3 medium ripe bananas
3 eggs
250 g flour
150 g sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
100 g unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: Add chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit for extra flavor


Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.

Add the eggs to the mashed banana and mix until everything is well combined.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until well combined.

Mix the melted butter and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth. Stir in chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit, depending on your preference.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then remove to a rack to cool completely.
