Crispy Herb Chicken Strips with Golden Fries & Fresh Garden Salad

A bright, delicious plate featuring perfectly seasoned pan-fried chicken strips, crispy homemade fries, and a refreshing cucumber–lettuce–tomato salad. Simple ingredients, big flavor, and perfect ANY day of the week!

For the Crispy Herb Chicken

2–3 chicken breast fillets (cut into long strips)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried herbs (thyme or Italian seasoning)

Salt & black pepper (to taste)

For the Homemade Fries

2 medium potatoes, cut into thin fries

1 tbsp vegetable oil

Salt & pepper

Optional: paprika or Cajun seasoning

For the Garden Salad

1 cup shredded lettuce

½ cup cucumber slices

½ cup tomato slices

¼ small onion, thinly slice

Pinch of salt & black pepper

Simple Salad Dressing

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar

Pinch of salt & pepper

1. Cook the Chicken

Season chicken strips with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, herbs, salt, and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high.

Cook chicken strips 4–5 minutes per side until golden, crispy, and fully cooked. Remove and keep warm.

2. Prepare the Fries

Rinse cut potatoes and pat dry.

Toss with oil, salt, pepper, and optional paprika.

Air Fryer: 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, shaking halfway.

Oven: Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 25 minutes, flipping once.

Pan-fry: Cook in shallow oil until golden and crisp.

3. Make the Sala

Add lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions to a bowl.

Season lightly with salt and pepper.

Drizzle dressing and toss gently.

4. Assemble the Plate

Place chicken strips on one side, fries on the other, and fresh salad on top. Serve with ketchup, mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce.
