  • 1 9 inch pie crust
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup. Water
  • 1 3 ounce package strawberry jello
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • Fresh whipping cream.
Instructions for Delicious Fresh Strawberry Tart Recipe 
  1. Bake the crust according to the package guidelines.
  2. To keep the crust in place during baking, Line the crust with aluminum foil and bake for 8 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes.
  4. In a small saucepan, add cornstarch, sugar, and water; stir until smooth.
  5. Bring it to a boil, then whisk for 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.
  6. Remove from the heat and toss in the strawberry jello until completely dissolved.
  7. Allow the mixture to cool for approximately 15 minutes.
  8. Place the strawberries in the crust and pour the chilled mixture over them.
  9. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight, until set. Serve with freshly whipped cream.

NOTES:
Strawberry pie will keep for about 2 days at room temperature or 4 to 5 days in the refrigerator if properly stored in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap.
