Total Time: 10 minutes

Servings: 2 wraps

Ingredients:

Tuna Filling:

1 can (5 oz / ~140g) tuna in water, drained

2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise)

1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)

½ tsp lemon juice

Salt & black pepper to taste

¼ cup finely chopped celery or cucumber

¼ cup grated carrot

Wrap Base:

2 large whole wheat or flour tortillas

1 cup baby spinach or lettuce

2–4 slices tomato (optional)

Optional: sliced avocado, red onion, or pickles

Instructions:

Make the Tuna Salad
In a mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, Greek yogurt (or mayo), mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, celery/cucumber, and carrot. Mix until well combined.

Assemble the Wraps
Lay tortillas flat. Add a handful of greens in the center of each. Spoon tuna mixture on top (divide evenly). Add tomato slices, avocado, or other toppings if using.

Roll It Up
Fold in the sides and roll up tightly from the bottom. Slice in half if desired.

Serve or Store
Serve immediately or wrap tightly in foil for lunchboxes. Store in the fridge for up to 24 hours for best texture.

Notes:

Low-carb option: Use large lettuce leaves instead of tortillas.

Make it spicy: Add a dash of hot sauce or chopped jalapeno.

Make ahead: Mix tuna filling in advance and store separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I use canned tuna in oil?
A: Yes, but drain it well. It’ll be richer in flavor.

Q: Can I use mayo instead of yogurt?
A: Absolutely. Mayo gives a creamier, richer taste; yogurt is lighter and higher in protein.

Q: Can I prep this for lunch the next day?
A: Yes! Just keep the wrap tightly wrapped in foil or a lunchbox and refrigerate overnight.
