Grilled Pineapple BBQ Ribs
Fall-off-the-bone ribs glazed with a caramelized pineapple BBQ sauce — smoky, tangy, sweet, and deeply savory. The pineapple adds natural sweetness and tenderness while keeping the ribs juicy.

Ingredients
Ribs
1½–2 kg beef or pork ribs
Salt & black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Pineapple BBQ Sauce
1 cup pineapple juice (fresh or canned)
½ cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp grated ginger
1 garlic clove, grated
Chili flakes
Grilling
Pineapple rings or chunks
Extra BBQ sauce for basting
Instructions
Season & Slow Bake
Preheat oven to 160°C.
Rub ribs with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Wrap tightly in foil and bake 2 hours until very tender.
Make Pineapple BBQ Sauce
Simmer pineapple juice, BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, garlic, and chili flakes.
Cook 10–12 minutes until thick and glossy.
Grill & Glaze
Heat grill to medium-high.
Brush ribs generously with pineapple BBQ sauce.
Grill 3–4 min per side, basting frequently.
Grill pineapple slices until charred and caramelized.
Serve
Slice ribs.
Top with grilled pineapple.
