Ingredients

For the Grilled Shrimp:

1 pound (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (optional for extra freshness)

For the Caesar Wrap:

4 large flour tortillas (whole wheat or spinach wraps work well too)

4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped (or mixed greens if preferred)

1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade – recipe below)

1/2 cup croutons (optional, for crunch)

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

For Homemade Caesar Dressing (Optional):

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Shrimp

1. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon zest (if using). Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.

2. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

3. Grill the shrimp for 2–3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Caesar Dressing (Optional)

1. In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

2. Adjust seasoning to taste. If you prefer a lighter dressing, you can use Greek yogurt instead of mayo.

Step 3: Assemble the Wraps

1. Lay out your tortillas on a flat surface.

2. In the center of each tortilla, layer a handful of chopped romaine lettuce.

3. Drizzle with Caesar dressing and top with grilled shrimp.

4. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and add croutons for extra crunch (optional).

5. Season with freshly cracked black pepper, if desired.

6. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly.

Step 4: Serve

1. Slice the wraps in half diagonally and serve immediately.

2. Optionally, garnish with extra Parmesan cheese or a sprinkle of parsley.

Notes & Tips

Grilled Shrimp Variations: If you don’t have a grill, you can pan-sear the shrimp in a skillet over medium heat for a similar effect.

Make It Lighter: For a lighter version, use low-fat Caesar dressing or Greek yogurt-based dressing.

Wrap Variations: You can switch the tortilla for a whole-wheat or gluten-free version if preferred.

Flavor Boost: Add a few slices of avocado for extra creaminess or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for extra zing.

Meal Prep Tip: You can grill the shrimp and prepare the dressing ahead of time. Assemble the wraps when ready to serve.

Crunchy Option: If you want extra crunch, you can replace croutons with toasted nuts (like almonds or walnuts) or crispy chickpeas.

Enjoy these Grilled Shrimp Caesar Wraps as a light yet satisfying meal that packs all the flavor of a classic Caesar salad into a convenient, handheld wrap!
