Ingredients:
  1. 1/2 cup honey
  2. 1/4 cup soy sauce
  3. 1 tsp ginger
  4. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  5. 1 tsp minced garlic
  6. 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  7. 1 lb deveined shrimp
  8. 3 cups broccoli florets
  9. 1 pack of smoked sausage
  10. 2 tbsp olive oil
  11. 2 tbsp butter
  12. 1 tsp cornstarch

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients until the final six to make the marinating sauce.
  2. Put the prawns in one-third of the sauce and let it marinade for half an hour.
  3. Mix the cornflour into the leftover sauce and set aside.
  4. Add oil to a big pan set over medium-high heat, then add the broccoli. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often, or until softened. Take out of the skillet and set it aside.
  5. Add butter, and fry sausage and shrimp for 2 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp become pink and take on a “c” shape.
  6. Simmer the remaining sauce for two to three minutes. Toss in the broccoli after adding the remaining ingredients. Serve over noodles or rice, or just as is!
