Low-Carb  Garlic Flatbread

 Description

Soft, cheesy, flexible flatbread made without flour — perfect for keto, low-carb diets, and still super satisfying.


 Ingredients

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt

 Garlic Butter (optional but recommended)

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley

 Instructions

1. Melt cheese

  • In a microwave-safe bowl:
    • Add mozzarella + cream cheese
  • Microwave 30–60 seconds until melted
  • Stir until smooth

2. Make dough

  • Add egg, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt
  • Mix until dough forms
    👉 (It will be soft and slightly sticky)

3. Shape

  • Divide into small balls
  • Flatten into round flatbreads between parchment paper

4. Cook

Pan method:

  • Cook on medium heat 2–3 minutes per side

OR

Oven method:

  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes

5. Finish

  • Brush with garlic butter
  • Sprinkle herbs

 Tips

  • Use parchment paper — dough is sticky
  • Don’t overcook → keeps it soft
  • Add cheese inside for stuffed version
