Low-Carb Garlic Flatbread
Description
Soft, cheesy, flexible flatbread made without flour — perfect for keto, low-carb diets, and still super satisfying.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 large egg
- ¾ cup almond flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
Garlic Butter (optional but recommended)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp parsley
Instructions
1. Melt cheese
- In a microwave-safe bowl:
- Add mozzarella + cream cheese
- Microwave 30–60 seconds until melted
- Stir until smooth
2. Make dough
- Add egg, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt
- Mix until dough forms
👉 (It will be soft and slightly sticky)
3. Shape
- Divide into small balls
- Flatten into round flatbreads between parchment paper
4. Cook
Pan method:
- Cook on medium heat 2–3 minutes per side
OR
Oven method:
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes
5. Finish
- Brush with garlic butter
- Sprinkle herbs
Tips
- Use parchment paper — dough is sticky
- Don’t overcook → keeps it soft
- Add cheese inside for stuffed version
