Mediterranean fruit & nut delight
A naturally sweet, no-sugar dessert made with fresh fruits, nuts, and a hint of citrus. It’s soft, chewy, and satisfying like a dessert, yet totally healthy and oil-free. Perfect for a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients
½ cup dates, pitted
½ cup dried figs
1 small apple, finely chopped
½ cup fresh pomegranate seeds
2 tbsp chopped walnuts or almonds
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice
Optional: 1 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut for topping
Instructions:
1. Prepare the base:
Soak dates and figs in warm water for 5 minutes to soften.
Drain and mash together in a bowl until sticky.
2. Mix fruits & nuts:
Add chopped apple, pomegranate seeds, walnuts, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
Mix well until combined.
3. Shape dessert:
Form into small bite-sized balls or press into a small dish to make bars.
Optional: sprinkle shredded coconut on top.
4. Chill (optional):
Refrigerate for 20 minutes to firm up slightly.
5. Serve fresh as a healthy, sweet snack or dessert.
Notes & Tips:
You can swap apples with pears, or add berries for extra freshness.
For more texture, lightly toast nuts (without oil).
These keep well in the fridge for 2–3 days.
