Mediterranean Greek Lamb & Olive Mezze Bowl
A vibrant mezze-style bowl with spiced Greek lamb, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, herbs, warm rice (or couscous), and a creamy lemon-garlic yogurt sauce. Filling, balanced, and FULL of Mediterranean flavors.

Ingredients
For the Greek Lamb
300g ground lamb
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp cumin
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
Grain Base
1½ cups cooked rice
OR
1 cup cooked couscous
OR
1 cup cooked quinoa
Vegetables & Toppings
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 small cucumber, diced
¼ red onion, thinly sliced
¼ cup Kalamata olives, sliced
2 tbsp fresh parsley or mint
¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled
Creamy Lemon Yogurt Sauce
½ cup Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp garlic powder
Salt & black pepper to taste
1–2 tbsp water to thin if needed
Instructions
1. Make the Greek Lamb
Heat olive oil in a pan.
Add ground lamb and break it apart.
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and cumin.
Cook 8–10 minutes until browned and slightly crispy.
Finish with lemon juice for brightness.
Set aside.
2. Prepare the Yogurt Sauce
In a bowl, mix:
Yogurt
Lemon
Olive oil
Garlic powder
Salt & pepper
Whisk until smooth and creamy.
3. Assemble the Mezze Bowl
In each bowl add:
Base: rice, couscous, or quinoa
Greek Lamb — warm and juicy
Veggies: tomatoes, cucumbers, onion
Olives
Feta cheese
Fresh parsley or mint
Drizzle creamy lemon yogurt sauce on top
Tips
Add roasted cauliflower or grilled zucchini for extra veggies.
For a lighter bowl, replace rice with couscous.
For crunch, add a handful of pita chips.
Make it spicy by adding chili flakes or harissa (optional).
