Million Dollar Chicken Casserole

Million Dollar Chicken Casserole

I believe that if a recipe title contains the word “million dollar,” cream cheese is involved, and I have no problem with that. That’s precisely what happens with Million Dollar Chicken Casserole, a dish that includes a tonne of other delicious ingredients in addition to cream cheese, making it incredibly creamy and warm while remaining incredibly easy to prepare. (Oh, and there’s a crunchy Ritz cracker topping that is too good.)

The creaminess in this recipe can be attributed to the sour cream, cottage cheese, cream of chicken soup, and cream cheese. All you need to do is combine those with a small amount of onion and garlic powder and dry parsley … before to incorporating several cups of chicken shreds. (Anyone have a leftover rotisserie sitting in the refrigerator? Create this!
All of that creaminess and the easy preparation make this easy to boast about, but you can’t wax poetic about it without also mentioning the buttery, crispy topping.

The components in this recipe aren’t particularly expensive on their own; there’s cooked chicken, some dairy products, and a traditional canned casserole shortcut. Nothing fancy, uncommon, or picky. However, after biting into it and tasting the crunchy topping and luxuriously creamy sauce, you’ll feel as though you could part with a good amount of cash for it.
