 Ingredients

For the beef filling:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste or ketchup
  • ¼ cup water

For assembling:

  • 4–6 tortillas (flour or whole wheat)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • ½ cup sour cream or yogurt
  • Optional: avocado slices, hot sauce

 Instructions

1. Cook the beef

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
  2. Add onion and cook until soft
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned
  5. Stir in spices, salt, and pepper
  6. Add tomato paste and water
  7. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thick and flavorful

2. Warm tortillas

  • Heat tortillas in a pan or microwave for a few seconds to soften

3. Assemble wraps

  1. Place beef in the center of each tortilla
  2. Add cheese, lettuce, tomato
  3. Drizzle sour cream or yogurt
  4. Add extras like avocado or hot sauce

4. Fold & serve

  • Fold sides in, then roll tightly into wraps
  • Serve immediately or toast lightly for extra crispiness
