500 g boneless chicken breast or thigh, sliced

Zest of 1 lemon

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp paprika (mild)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Tzatziki Sauce

Wrap Fillings

4 whole wheat or white pita breads

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ red onion, thinly sliced

Shredded lettuce or sliced cucumber

Optional: crumbled feta, olives

Instructions

1. Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon zest & juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Toss chicken to coat. Marinate 10–30 minutes (even 10 minutes adds great flavor).

2. Make Tzatziki

Combine all tzatziki ingredients in a bowl.

Chill until ready to serve.

3. Cook the Chicken

Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high.

Cook chicken 5–7 minutes, turning until golden and cooked through.

Rest 2 minutes, then slice if needed.

4. Warm the Pitas

Warm pitas in a dry pan or oven until soft and pliable.

5. Assemble Wraps

Spread tzatziki on each pita.

Add chicken, tomatoes, onion, lettuce/cucumber, and optional feta or olives.

Roll and serve.

Notes & Tips

Thighs stay juicier; breasts are leaner—both work well.

Squeeze cucumber well for thick tzatziki.

Add a squeeze of lemon just before serving for extra zing.

Great for meal prep—keep components separate.
