3 Ingredient Air Fryer Chicken Breast
This Air Fryer Chicken Breast dish is so soft and juicy, you’ll be shocked how easy it is to create in your air fryer! With only 3 ingredients, the chicken breast is done in approximately 15 minutes.
Ingredients:
Directions:
- Heat the air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Take the chicken breast out of the package and lay it on a piece of parchment paper.
- Add olive oil and the Italian seasoning packet to a medium-sized mixing bowl to make the chicken seasoning. Mix thoroughly until fully incorporated.
- Apply the spice mixture to the chicken breast on both sides using a pastry brush.
- Make sure the chicken is arranged in a single layer and insert the chicken breast into the air fryer basket using a fork. Avoid packing the air fryer with too many chicken pieces or stacking them.
For around six minutes (more if your chicken is larger and not pounded), cook the chicken on the first side. After six minutes, open the air fryer and turn each chicken breast over with a fresh fork. After 6 more minutes, or until the interior temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit, close the air fryer. When my chicken breast reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit, I prefer to take it out and let it rest for five minutes under a cover. The chicken will continue to cook a little while it’s covered with tinfoil.

Recipe Success Advice
- When preparing chicken breasts, make sure you have a meat thermometer for the best results.
Use thin breasts for the tastiest, most juicy, tender - chicken breasts, or pound your larger breasts with a meat mallet before cooking.
- When the internal temperature of my chicken hits 160 degrees F, I prefer to remove it. After covering with tin foil, give it a five-minute rest. While the chicken rests, it will continue to cook.
