30 Minute Shrimp Scampi Recipe in the Air Fryer (No Wine)

Mealtimes like prawn scampi are great because they’re fresh, light and easy. Additionally, in only ten minutes, you may roast the prawns and veggies together to perfection in the air fryer.

The ingredients for making traditional prawn scampi without wine are lengthy. On the other hand, I adore this recipe because it calls for cupboard basics to make prawn scampi. What you’ll need to make prawn scampi without wine is:

  • Half a pound of asparagus
  • Two Roma tomatoes (about ½ pound of large chunked tomatoes) or a pint of cherry tomatoes

Frozen shrimp works well.

  1. ½ pound medium raw shrimp, deveined, shelled, and tails removed.
  2. One-half pound of linguine
  3. One tablespoon of olive oil
  4. three cloves of garlic
  5. To taste, add salt and pepper.
  6. One or two tablespoons of lemon juice
  7. 1/4–1/2 tsp paprika
  8. ⅛-¼ teaspoon onion powder
  9. ⅛-¼ tsp dried basil
  10. Red pepper flakes, to taste
  11. Black Pepper, to taste
  12. 2 tablespoons butter

  1. Freshly grated parmesan cheese, optional
  2. Lemon juice

  1. Prepare the linguine as directed on the packet.
    Get the ingredients ready.
  2. Trim and wash the asparagus. Cut into thirds or halves, as desired.
  3. Clean the tomatoes. Cut Roma tomatoes into bite-sized pieces if using them.
  4. Thaw any frozen prawns.
  5. In a bowl, mix the tomatoes and asparagus with the olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Until everything is coated evenly, stir.
  6. Shrimp, oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, onion, basil, red pepper flakes and pepper should all be combined in a bowl.
  7. Air Fryer:
  8. Arrange the prawns on one side of the basket of the air fryer. Arrange the asparagus and tomatoes on the other side of the basket.
  9. At 380°F, air fried for 8 minutes.
  10. Top the prawns, asparagus and tomatoes with around 2 tablespoons of cubed butter in total. Add two more minutes to the air fry time.
  11. Present and Savour
  12. Remove contents from the air fryer basket and combine with the cooked linguine in a bowl or plate. Take all the juices from the bottom of the air fryer basket and add to the pasta and shrimp. If you need additional liquid, add a little water.
  13. If preferred, and to taste, top with more parmesan cheese and lemon juice.
