Cheesy Roasted Cabbage
Ingredients
- 1 large cabbage, sliced into thick steaks
- 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven
- Set to 400°F (200°C)
- Prep cabbage
- Slice cabbage into thick rounds
- Place on baking tray
- Season
- Mix oil/butter + garlic + spices
- Brush over cabbage
- Roast
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until tender
- Add cheese
- Sprinkle mozzarella + Parmesan
- Bake another 5–10 minutes until melted & golden
Tips
- Don’t overcrowd → better crisp edges
- Broil last 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness
- Add chili flakes for heat 🔥
