Cheesy Roasted Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 large cabbage, sliced into thick steaks
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • Fresh parsley (optional)

 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Set to 400°F (200°C)
  2. Prep cabbage
    • Slice cabbage into thick rounds
    • Place on baking tray
  3. Season
    • Mix oil/butter + garlic + spices
    • Brush over cabbage
  4. Roast
    • Bake for 20–25 minutes until tender
  5. Add cheese
    • Sprinkle mozzarella + Parmesan
    • Bake another 5–10 minutes until melted & golden

 Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd → better crisp edges
  • Broil last 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness
  • Add chili flakes for heat 🔥
