Watermelon Feta Skewers Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 cup feta cheese, cut into similar-sized cubes (firm block feta works best)
Fresh mint leaves (optional, but highly recommended)
Balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
Skewers or cocktail picks
Instructions:
Cut Ingredients: Cube the watermelon and feta into roughly equal sizes for uniform skewers.
Assemble Skewers:
On each skewer or pick, stack in this order:
Watermelon cube
Mint leaf (folded if large
Feta cube
(Or reverse it if you’d like! Some people prefer feta on the bottom for stability.)
Plate and Chill: Arrange the skewers on a platter and chill until serving time.
Drizzle Before Serving: Right before serving, lightly drizzle with balsamic glaze for a sweet-tangy finish. You can also add a small sprinkle of cracked black pepper or lemon zest for extra flair.
Variations:
Add a cucumber slice for crunch.
Replace mint with basil for a twist.
Use toothpicks for mini, bite-sized versions.
