Ingredients

1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds

3 tbsp olive oil

1 ball burrata cheese (about 120–150 g)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (or heirloom tomatoes, diced)

1 clove garlic, halved

Fresh basil leaves, torn

1 tbsp balsamic glaze

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Toast the bread

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil.

Bake 8–10 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crisp.

Rub each slice lightly with the cut side of garlic while still warm.

Prepare toppings

Halve cherry tomatoes and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
