Sweet & Savory Potato Bites

Crispy golden potato bites tossed in a sweet maple–garlic glaze and balanced with buttery herbs and a touch of salt. Small, addictive, and perfect for parties or quick snacking.

Ingredients 

For the Potato Bites

3 medium potatoes, peeled & cut into small bites (1-inch)

1 tbsp olive oil

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

½ tsp dried rosemary or thyme

Sweet & Savory Glaze

1 tbsp olive oil

1.5 tbsp maple syrup or honey

1 garlic clove, minced

½ tsp soy sauce or balsamic vinegar

Pinch of salt

Optional Toppings

Fresh parsley

Toasted sesame seeds

Chili flakes

Grated parmesan or feta

Instructions

1. Roast the Potato Bites

Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).

Toss potato cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary/thyme.

Spread on a baking tray in one layer.

Roast 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.

2. Make the Sweet & Savory Glaze

Melt butter in a small pan.

Add garlic and sauté 20–30 seconds.

Add maple/honey, soy sauce/balsamic, and a pinch of salt.

Simmer 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.

3. Toss & Serve

Add hot roasted potatoes to a bowl.

Pour glaze over and toss well to coat.

Finish with parsley, sesame, or a sprinkle of cheese.
