Sweet potatoes – 2 large, peeled and boiled
Breadcrumbs – ½ cup (or crushed bread)

Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
Green chili – 1, finely chopped (optional)
Fresh coriander – 2 tbsp, chopped
Egg – 1 (optional, for binding)
Cornflour or all-purpose flour – 2 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Black pepper – ½ tsp
Paprika or chili powder – ½ tsp
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Oil – for shallow frying
Instructions
Prepare Sweet Potatoes
Boil sweet potatoes until fork-tender. Drain well and mash smoothly in a bowl.
Mix Ingredients
Add onion, garlic, chili, coriander, breadcrumbs, flour, egg (if using), salt, and spices. Mix until a soft, moldable mixture forms.
Shape Patties
Take small portions and shape into flat round patties.
Cook Patties
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Shallow-fry patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Drain & Serve
Remove and place on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
