Vegan Garlic Knots

Ingredients
Dough
2½ cups all-purpose flour
2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
¾ cup warm water
2 tbsp olive oil
Garlic Topping
3 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
½ tsp dried oregano
Salt to taste
Optional
1 tbsp nutritional yeast (cheesy flavor)
Instructions
1️⃣ Make Dough
Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast
Rest 5 minutes until foamy
Add flour, salt, olive oil
Knead 8–10 minutes until soft
Cover and let rise 1 hour
2️⃣ Shape Knots
Divide dough into 10–12 pieces
Roll each into a rope and tie into a knot
3️⃣ Bake
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
Place knots on lined tray
Bake 14–16 minutes until golden
4️⃣ Garlic Oil
Gently heat olive oil and garlic (don’t brown)
Stir in parsley, oregano, salt, and nutritional yeast
5️⃣ Finish
Brush hot knots generously with garlic oil
Serve warm
