New York Cheesecake with Blueberry Sauce

New York Cheesecake with Blueberry Sauce

Introduction

New York cheesecake is famous for its dense, velvety texture and rich cream-cheese flavor. Unlike lighter cheesecakes, this version uses heavy cream or sour cream for that signature indulgence. Paired with a glossy homemade blueberry sauce, it’s a timeless dessert perfect for celebrations or special treats.

Mix crushed biscuits with melted butter.

Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing just until incorporated.

Add cream (or sour cream), cornstarch, vanilla, lemon juice, and salt.

Step 3: Bake the Cheesecake

Pour filling over cooled crust.

Tap pan gently to release air bubbles.

Turn oven off, crack door open, and leave cheesecake inside for 1 hour.
