Ingredients For Air Fryer Baby Back Ribs

  1. Baby back ribs in one rack
  2. One tablespoon of olive oil
  3. One tablespoon of flavouring liquid smoke
  4. One-third cup brown sugar
  5. Half a teaspoon of salt
  6. ½ teaspoon of black pepper, ground
  7. One-half teaspoon of powdered garlic
  8. One-half teaspoon of onion powder
  9. One-half teaspoon of chilli powder
  10. One cup of barbecue sauce

Instructions For Air Fryer Baby Back Ribs

  1. After removing the membrane from the back of the ribs, pat dry with a paper towel. Divide the rack into four parts. In a small bowl, combine the liquid smoke and olive oil; spread the mixture onto the ribs on both sides.
  2. In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, chilli powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt. Use a large amount of seasoning mix on both sides of the ribs. To improve the flavour, let the ribs rest for half an hour.
  3. Set an air fryer’s temperature to 375°F, or 190°C.
  4. Make sure the ribs are not touching when you place them bone-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches as needed.
  5. Simmer for fifteen minutes. After 10 minutes, turn the ribs over (meat-side down) and continue cooking.
  6. After taking the ribs out of the air fryer, coat the bone side with half a cup of barbecue sauce. Reinstall the basket in the air fryer, then cook it for five minutes.
  7. Turn the ribs over, brush the meat side with the leftover 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, and continue cooking for a further 5 minutes, or until the desired char is reached
