Ingredients For Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Bombs:
- 1 1/2 cups of cooked chicken, shredded
- One-third cup of wing sauce
- One-third cup of cheddar cheese
- Two tablespoons of room-temperature cream cheese
- One tablespoon of sour cream
- One can of chilled biscuit dough (eight pieces)
- Half a cup of melted butter
- One and a half tsp ranch seasoning
- For serving, use ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Instructions For Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Bombs:
- In a mixing bowl, add the chicken, wing sauce, cheddar, cream cheese, and sour cream. Thoroughly toss to mix.
- To make sixteen thin pieces of cookie dough, open the biscuit can and split each biscuit in half.
- Place a dollop of the chicken mixture in the middle of each biscuit, then seal the edges around the chicken and shape it into a ball.
- Make sure there is airflow between each biscuit bite when you place them in the air fryer basket.
- Brush the biscuit dough with the melted butter and ranch seasoning mixture.
- For five to six minutes, or until the biscuits are cooked through and golden brown, air fried them at 350 degrees.
- Accompany with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dunks.
Observations:
- For this dish, we like to use rotisserie or whole chickens from our air fryer. If you use canned chicken, the dish can taste a little too salty in the end. Seek for canned chicken that is minimal in salt.
- Most likely, you’ll have to work in batches. Because the air fryer will be hot, the second batch will cook a little quicker than the first.
- Ingredients for the sauce: Use the wing sauce of your choice. Sour cream, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese in shreds are required.
- Biscuit: To make sixteen of these buffalo chicken bites, we use one can of chilled biscuit dough.
- Butter Sauce: A mixture of melted butter and ranch seasoning will be brushed over the outside of the biscuit dough.
- Ranch or blue cheese dressings are excellent choices for presenting as dipping sauces. Heck, if you’d like, serve with both.
Advice!
- Unless you have a really large air fryer, you’ll probably have to work in batches. Remember that because the air fryer will be hot, the second batch will cook a little quicker than the first.
- Use a hot wing sauce to give these an extra fiery kick. Add a little cayenne pepper as well.
- In a pinch, canned chicken works great, although both the chicken and the wing sauce have a strong salt taste. For optimal results, use a canned chicken that is low in sodium.
- For up to four days, store any leftover biscuit bites in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
- These Buffalo Chicken Bombs can be reheated in the air fryer for three to four minutes at 350 degrees.
