Air fryer chicken salt cheese toast

Once we upgraded the traditional cheese toast with chicken salt, there’s no turning back. When air-fried to a golden perfection, the blend of pecorino and parmesan cheeses, margarine, and poultry salt provides a truly magical flavour.

Ingredients:

  1. 1/3 cup of margarine with little salt
  2. 40g, or half a cup pecorino
  3. 20g, finely grated (1/4 cup) finely chopped Parmigiana
  4. 1 teaspoon reduced Massel Salt Style: Chicken Stock Powder
  5. Four substantial pieces of toast-style white bread

Instructions:

  1. For a few minutes, preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Every bread slice should have a small coating of butter or olive oil sprayed on one side.
  3. Put the bread pieces in the air fryer basket, buttered side down.
  4. Evenly divide the cooked chicken breast among the slices of bread.
    Sprinkle chicken salt seasoning generously over the chicken.
  5. Top with a generous amount of grated cheese, covering the chicken and bread evenly.
  6. Place the air fryer basket in the preheated air fryer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Once done, carefully remove the chicken salt cheese toasts from the air fryer and serve hot.
  8. Optional: For an extra burst of flavour and freshness, sprinkle chopped fresh herbs, such as parsley or chives, over the chicken salt cheese toasts.
