Air Fryer Fish Tacos

You will make these fish tacos for a weekday supper far too frequently because they are quick to make in the air fryer and worthy of a food truck. I apologise; I’m not sorry. I apologise as well for the crunchy slaw, which is so delicious that you’ll find yourself eating it by itself.

Ingredients:

  1. tsp sour cream
  2. One teaspoon of mayonnaise
  3. One clove of coarsely chopped garlic
  4. A tablespoon of lime juice
  5. One and a half cups of shredded green cabbage
  6. 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  7. 1/4 cup of red onion, thinly sliced
  8. One container yielded two teaspoons (6.25 oz).
  9. Original Taco Seasoning from Old El PasoTM. Combine
  10. One egg
  11. One tablespoon of water
  12. 1/2 cup Progresso™ plain panko crispy bread crumbs
  13. 1/2
  14. lb skinless white fish fillets (such as halibut or mahi mahi), cut into 1-inch strips
  15. 1 package (5.1 oz) Old El Paso
  16. Flour Soft Tortilla Mini Bowls (12 Count)
  17. Sliced avocado, thinly sliced radishes,
  18. chopped fresh cilantro leaves and lime wedges

Directions:

  1. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic, and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Add the red onion and cabbage and mix to coat. The cabbage combination should be covered and chilled until ready to serve.
  2. Cut cooking parchment paper into an 8-inch circle. Put in the air fryer basket’s bottom.
  3.  Transfer the taco spice mix to a shallow plate. Beat the egg and water in a separate shallow dish. Put the bread crumbs in the third shallow dish. Apply taco seasoning mix to the fish, dunk it in the egg mixture, and then coat it with the bread crumb mixture, pushing it on to stick.
  4. Fish should be placed in the air fryer basket on parchment. Bake for eight minutes at 350°F. Fish should flake readily with a fork after 4 to 6 minutes of cooking after turning (at least 145°F). Dice the fish into small pieces.
  5. Spoon mixture of cabbage over taco bowls. Place fish on top, followed by avocado, radishes, and cilantro. Accompany with wedges of lime.

Tips:

  • The temperature control settings for air fryers differ based on the model and brand. See your manual for recommended temperature settings if the recipe calls for a temperature that your air fryer does not have.
  • Add [Yum Yum Sauce] on top for even more taste.
